Plans for park submitted
Plans to create a new park at the site of Crawter's Brook, delivered by the Manor Royal Business Group, have been submitted to Crawley Borough Council.
This new facility will create a more attractive and inviting entrance to this area with sculptural archways and seating. A shared pedestrian and cycle path will lead to the "south wood", which will be a more natural setting, before meandering towards the "north wood" and eventually leading to a new entrance onto Fleming Way.
As well as providing a new facility for staff and visitors to escape from their busy day and recharge their batteries over lunch, the People's Park will provide a setting for informal meetings and re-establish the lost link between Manor Royal and Fleming Way.
More details will appear here and on the Crawley Borough Council website as part of the planning application.

This is one of three projects being delivered by the Manor Royal Business Group in the first year of the Manor Royal BID. Construction is expected to get underway at the beginning of 2014.
This project has been made possible thanks to the creation of the Manor Royal BID, the cooperation of Crawley Borough Council and Kick-Start funding from West Sussex County Council. This partnership and part-funding from the West Sussex County Council has helped to make the park possible, which is important to helping to improve the trading and working environment of Manor Royal.
